Cofanetto ufficiale in 5 CD e Blu-ray contenente tutte le apparizioni radiofoniche e televisive britanniche giunte fino a noi dei leggendari Strawbs tra il 1966 e il 1984. Le origini degli Strawbs risalgono al 1963, quando Dave Cousins e Tony Hooper fondarono il duo bluegrass The Strawberry Hill Boys. Il primo album degli Strawbs uscì nel maggio 1969 e segnò l'inizio di una splendida carriera che ha prodotto una serie di album classici. Dave Cousins era il musicista e cantautore visionario e di grande talento alla guida di molte formazioni della band, che in vari momenti ha visto la partecipazione di membri illustri come Ron Chesterman, Tony Hooper, Rick Wakeman, Richard Hudson, John Ford, Blue Weaver, Dave Lambert, Chas Cronk, Rod Coombes e John Hawken. La visione musicale di Cousins ha portato gli Strawbs a evolvere il loro stile dalle radici folk fino a diventare uno dei gruppi di rock progressivo più importanti della Gran Bretagna. Tra il 1966 e il 1984 gli Strawbs registrarono numerose e memorabili sessioni radiofoniche e televisive per la BBC e altre emittenti del Regno Unito. Questo cofanetto rimasterizzato raccoglie tutte le sessioni radiofoniche e televisive della BBC sopravvissute della band, insieme a diversi brani registrati per altre emittenti, tra cui in particolare tre spettacoli completi di BBC Radio In Concert, apparizioni a The Old Grey Whistle Test e Top Of The Pops, e un'esibizione di reunion degli Strawbs al Cambridge Folk Festival del 1983. È un meraviglioso tributo all'eredità musicale del compianto Dave Cousins.
