Grandi ospiti (Steve Vai, Robert Randolph, Chris Daughtry, Christone "Kingfish" Ingram, Robin Thicke, Judith Hill e il gruppo vocale VoicePlay) fanno compagnia ai Chicago in questo film concerto trasmesso dall'emittente televisiva PBS e ora disponibile su supporto audio (due CD) e video (un DVD): l'occasione è stata offerta dai 55 anni trascorsi dalla pubblicazione dell'album di debutto "Chicago Transit Authority", che la band ha voluto riproporre integralmente nel corso di due serate che lo scorso novembre l'hanno vista esibirsi davanti a diecimila fan nella Ovation Hall dell'Ocean Casino Resort di Atlantic City in New Jersey. Nei due show, oltre ai brani del primo disco (tra cui la celebre versione di "I'm A Man" dello Spencer Davis Group e gli altri singoli "Questions 67 And 68", "Beginnings" e "Does Anybody Really Know What Time Is It?") i Chicago hanno eseguito in versione "unplugged" altri classici come "Hard To Say I'm Sorry/Get Away", "If You Leave Me Now" e "Saturday In The Park". Nelle parole del cofondatore del gruppo Lee Loughnane, il film concerto offre "un approccio unico rispetto a qualsiasi altra nostra precedente performance dal vivo. Suoniamo molto raramente con artisti ospiti, men che meno con sette di loro. È stato molto interessante lavorare con ciascun ospite e sperimentare la sua interpretazione della nostra musica". Oltre al trombettista, della attuale formazione dei Chicago fanno ancora parte altri due membri originali, il tastierista e cantante solista Robert Lamm e il trombonista James Pankow.
